Why is it that every time I try to stab a tomato with my fork it spits juices back at me? Why?

Happy New Year!

I'm down about 25 lbs now. It feels good to buy clothes that look good on me again. I think I'm going to have a real hard time loosing those last 20 lbs by April but as soon as the weather gets nicer & I'm outside more I'm sure it'll come right on off.

I'm just ready for spring to come along. I was kind of hoping for a snow day today. I got about 2 inches of snow last night, other areas aroundof us got 4+. But, it warmed up & it's all gone now. Everything is a rainy, wet mess outside. It's better that way though, this city really doesn't know how to handle snow. It's quite funny actually. The buses were jam packed yesterday, everyone trying to get home early and it hadn't even started to snow yet. Don't they know it has to start snowing before the chaos starts? I think my Almanac says we are to get snow one more time in March . . . that will be interesting. (I can only hope). But until then I must start to think about my garden & what I'll be growing this year since I didn't really plant anything last year. (I had Vertigo & was just not up to gardening) so let's start praying for a beautiful sunny summer with warm morning showers.
